Explorer Program

The explorer program is designed to teach young adults about law enforcement
activities such as: report writing, traffic accident investigation, patrol procedures
and crime scene investigation.

During the summer, the explorers meet at 7:00 p.m., the first Tuesday of every month at the Westin Substation. When school is in session, they will meet on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

In order to be eligible for the Explorer program, you must be between the ages of 14 to 21 and have graduated the eighth grade. All Explorers are also required to maintain a 2.0 GPA while attending school.
