Armed Robbery at Chick-fil-A Leaves Two Victims with Gunshot Wounds

CPD is investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred at Chick-fil-A on Prince Street around 10:50 Tuesday night. An employee walked out the back door of the restaurant and was met by a man with a gun.

The suspect forced the employee inside the back door of the building. That is when the employee, as well as another employee in the restaurant, was shot. The shooter ran from the building but it's not known how he left the area. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video from the scene and other surveillance in the surrounding area. The only description victims and witnesses were able to give was that the shooter was a light-skinned black male wearing a hoodie.

The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. If you have any information on this case you are asked to call Conway Police at 450-6120 or you can text an anonymous tip to CRIMES (274637) and use the keyword "CONWAY" plus your tip.
