The Conway Police Department has 137 personnel serving an estimated population of approximately 53,713 residents and 40 square miles of jurisdiction.

As Chief of the Conway Police Department, Conway Arkansas, it is my privilege to serve the citizens of Conway. I am proud of the accomplishments of the dedicated men and women of this department and am extremely honored to serve as their Chief. Through their dedication, the members of the Conway Police Department have made outstanding progress in community partnership.
 
Effective March 19, 2005 CPD was officially sanctioned an internationally accredited law enforcement agency, under the auspices of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).

Conway Police Department now joins the ranks of only 3% of the 17,000 municipal police agencies within the United States who have met 447 stringent professional standards to be awarded this distinguished recognition of excellence. Conway Police Department is the fourth municipal police agency in Arkansas to receive this accreditation honor.
