A recent legislation change for Arkansas Code 24-11-415 now allows confiscated goods and found property to be sold over the internet.  The Conway Police Department has signed an agreement with PropertyRoom.com to have the items listed for online auction.  The proceeds from the sale of the property shall be deposited into the city’s policemen’s pension and relief fund. 

PropertyRoom.com also gives anyone the ability to search for stolen or lost property online through their “Steal-it-Back” feature.  Persons can recover their property by identifying unique marks, photographs, the serial number or bill of sale.  The Steal-it-Back registry can be found on the Property Room.com homepage.
